History for Barril:
What makes this coffee so remarkable? Let’s start with the coffee beans used. Viva and Fabled evaluated and selected the ideal beans for this collaboration. The winner was La Familia beans farmed and processed by Evelyn Tabora in Copan, Honduras. These naturally processed beans are characterized by remarkable notes of wild berries and grapes. - the perfect foundation for the collaboration.
Now onto the aging process. The beans were aged using a bourbon barrel that had also been used to make a delicious and fascinating cherry mead. After aging, the beans were meticulously selected and roasted to achieve a delicious profile that extracts the best attributes of both the beans, the barrel, and the aging process. The result… an exquisite coffee: Barril.
Enjoy this amazing coffee!
