History: Gesha's story is one of passion, patience, and trust. This bean is meticulously grown by Carlos Amaya, a young farmer in the Western Sierras who also grows the beans for our Huertas single origin, natural processed beans. Now, Gesha is not a very common coffee variety due to its delicate features and growing complexities, but Carlos took a leap of faith and invested in a micro lot to be able to grow and process this outstanding bean. Gerardo and Carlos have been able to establish an extraordinary collaboration. Gesha simply represents the beauty and power of direct trade relationships that are based on hard work, focus for quality, honesty and true collaboration.
